The beginning
Our predecessor was founded in June to manufacture valves and blowers for wastewater treatment.
- 2006
Founded in Boston
GL-TURBO was founded in Boston, USA, in June to develop single-stage geared turbo blower technology.
- 2007
The first GL blower
The first GL blower passed its overspeed test in December.
- 2008
Operations established in China
GL-TURBO China was established in Wuxi in May. The first GL blower entered service in Dongting, Wuxi, in December.
- 2014
Precision aeration enters service
GL-TURBO's first precision aeration system entered service in Tongliang, Chongqing, in June.
- 2015
International expansion
The 200th turbo blower was manufactured in March. GL-TURBO International ApS was established in Denmark in October, followed by the Lone Star Blower partnership in Houston in November.
- 2016
A broader manufacturing platform
GL-TURBO China completed its IPO in January. The LS Series launched in April, and the Houston manufacturing facility was established in September.
- 2017
300 units sold
GL-TURBO reached its 300th unit sold in January.
- 2018
New technology and European operations
The first DT blower entered service in the USA in April. GL-TURBO Europe was established in Leipzig, Germany, in November.
- 2019
GL-TURBO India
GL-TURBO India was established in Bengaluru in May.
- 2021
The first GA installation
The first GA blower entered service in Huishan, Wuxi, in November.
- 2022
BioChem technology joins GL-TURBO
GL-TURBO acquired the assets of US-based BioChem Technology, Inc. in August, extending the company's precision aeration control expertise.
